Typographic Journey

Was tasked with creating two prints of the iconic Glasgow buildings, Glasgow School of Art, and The Briggait. However, I was to complete these prints not with shape or line, but by type only. This was a fun and expansive project that pushed me out of my comfort zone and resulted in two innovative prints that I am proud of. I am especially fond of the Glasgow School of Art print and the fine detail I was able to achieve through creating a hierarchy of type, by manipulating the density and boldness of the type. This detail results in the final print being both recognisable as The Glasgow School of Art and eye-catching.
